Visitor registration launched for West Africa’s leading exhibition for the security, fire and safety industries

Securex West Africa will return to Lagos, Nigeria this year in 9 weeks’ time and visitors are now able to register to attend this year’s 11th edition incorporating the Firexpo West Africa, Facilities Management West Africa and Smart Cities West Africa co-located events.

After seeing a record number of attendees at last year’s event in 2022, organisers are expecting to welcome over 3,000 engaged industry professionals coming through the doors at Securex this year, eager to discover the latest innovations and trends across the sectors.

This year’s edition, returning to The Landmark Centre in Nigeria from 9 to 11 May 2023, is sponsored by Halogen Group, Net Global Systems and ZKTeco Nigeria. In addition, organisers for the event are working alongside supporting partners and key industry organisations including ASIS Lagos Chapter, International Institute of Professional Security, Nigerian Institute for Industrial Security, Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management and OSHAssociation among others.

Securex West Africa will see a large number of leading international companies such as Acronis International GmbH, Bristol Fire Engineering LLC, Nemtek and Telaeris Inc. coming to display their cutting-edge equipment and services to key business owners and buyers from across the West African region. As well as this, visitors can expect to see a strong local representation with companies including Agwe Global Limited, Crown Safemasters NIG Ltd (FirePro), Jireh Technologies Limited and UnoTelos Nigeria exhibiting to name just a few. Organisers are also pleased to announce a delegation from the United Kingdom will be returning for a second year.

Industry professionals attending the event will have the opportunity to get involved in numerous activities taking across the three days, including the conference programme which will see key industry representatives leading discussions and debates on some of the most prevalent issues including post-election national security outlook, cloud, cyber and IT security and critical national infrastructure within the energy industry. Additionally, to provide further insight into new technology and equipment, exhibitor workshops are also set to take place alongside the main conference programme. Organisers are looking forward to unveiling the 2023 conference schedule with this year’s speakers and session topics over the next coming weeks.
