Equipped 2021: an ambitious new event connecting first responders

Launching virtually on 9 November from 12 to 4pm ET, Equipped 2021 is an innovative new conference designed as a central hub for first responders to learn, engage and exchange ideas. Unlike other industry events, Equipped 2021 will bring together leaders and the ranks across Law Enforcement, Fire & Rescue, Dispatch and Emergency Medical Services to identify resource gaps and opportunities for collaboration.

Organizer JDC Events conceptualized Equipped in response to the need for first responders to have a centralized place to connect, discuss shared challenges and collaborate on best practices across the field of public safety.  Equipped 2021’s programme will showcase trending strategies, approaches and techniques within the field of public safety. A trio of notable figures will deliver keynote presentations centred around the value of community: City of Oakland Fire Chief Reginald Freeman, MS, CFO, FIFireE; Cathy Lanier, Former Chief of the Metropolitan Police Department, Washington, D.C., now Sr. VP and Chief Security Officer for the NFL; and Vermont Department of Health Chief of EMS Dan Batsie. Breakout sessions will examine opportunities for growth and collaboration with presentations across three tracks: health and wellness, community programmes, and tactics and training.
