At INTERSCHUTZ 2026, WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS presented SMART FORCE OS (Operating System), the first digital operating system for hydraulic rescue equipment. The new platform combines rescue equipment, a control app, location services and device management software into an integrated operating system, thereby setting new standards for digital operational support in technical rescue. WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS is also expanding its range of services to include new warranty extensions for rescue equipment, thereby providing additional peace of mind beyond the standard warranty.
SMART-FORCE OS is a fully networked rescue equipment platform that seamlessly integrates operations, training and maintenance. Through real-time monitoring, intelligent data processing and automated processes, emergency services personnel, equipment managers and senior staff have access to relevant information at all times. This enables, amongst other things, live monitoring of equipment status, pressure readings and battery levels, as well as the automatic documentation of training exercises and operations. At the same time, SMART FORCE OS reduces manual processes and minimises potential sources of error in day-to-day operations.
With ANTI-THEFT, WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS integrates intelligent, long-lasting anti-theft protection into the system. If tampering or unusual behaviour patterns are detected, the device deactivates itself automatically. When theft mode is activated, the device automatically transmits its location at intervals of up to ten days, thanks to an internal backup battery and triple localisation via GPS, Wi-Fi and LTE.
SMART-FORCE OS also opens up new possibilities in the area of TRAINING. Exercises can be documented, analysed and reviewed entirely digitally. Force curves, loads and equipment data can be visualised and supplemented with images, notes or voice recordings. This ensures maximum transparency and supports sustainable, structured learning.
In addition, SMART-FORCE OS offers comprehensive SERVICE functions for modern device management. The Auto-Check-In feature automatically keeps the battery status of all devices up to date, whilst maintenance checklists and notifications regarding service intervals simplify the management of entire device fleets and ensure maximum operational readiness.
With SMART-FORCE OS, WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS is consistently pursuing its goal of making rescue operations faster, safer and more efficient. At the same time, the company is underlining its commitment to developing practical digital innovations and providing long-term relief for emergency services personnel.
To coincide with the launch of SMART-FORCE OS, WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS is also expanding its range of services to include new warranty extensions for rescue equipment. Customers thus benefit from additional peace of mind beyond the standard warranty, as well as predictable service costs. The warranty extension can be taken out at the time of purchase or following a service and is available for up to six years. It is managed centrally via the WEBER RESCUE HUB, where warranty periods and maintenance statuses can be clearly viewed at any time.
