The success proves the innovative glove maker right. ‘We already export to 42 countries and set new standards in quality and fit,’ says Loos.
European production
ESKA produces its gloves in certified manufactories in Europe and knows no compromise when it comes to quality. ‘We rely on European raw materials and subject them to internal and external testing in Austria. Our gloves are certified according to strict criteria and have maximum mechanical and thermal values even after 20 washes. This is the new benchmark for durability and quality in our industry,’ says the managing director. With its proximity to its suppliers and its in-house sewing facility, ESKA is remarkably flexible and responsive. Patents, certificates and international awards pave the family-owned company’s road to success.
Country-specific military gloves
ESKA also supplies gloves to large and small armies of the world, including Germany and France who rely on products from the Austrian quality brand. ‘The demands on protection, functionality and tactility are enormous for military gloves. Every country deploys its troops differently, and there are also climatic differences. In order to meet the requirements precisely, we work in a highly customer-oriented manner and in close coordination with the respective client. We also equip the police in some countries with our gloves,’ says Loos.
