WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS Presents Product Innovations at FLORIAN 2026 and Looks Back on Successful rescueDAYS
Two events dedicated to modern rescue technology: At FLORIAN 2026 in Dresden, WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS presented new product innovations, digital solutions and services for rescue operations. At the same time, emergency responders and experts from around the world gathered at the international rescueDAYS 2026 in Mosbach to practice the latest rescue techniques under realistic conditions and exchange experiences.
Product Innovations at FLORIAN 2026 in Dresden
With more than 25,000 visitors, FLORIAN 2026 in Dresden provided an important platform for professional exchange in the fields of firefighting, civil protection and disaster management. Together with its partner MP BOS, WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS exhibited at the trade fair and further demonstrated its commitment to the rescue industry by sponsoring the Fire & Rescue Games.
The company’s trade fair presence focused on new solutions in the areas of digitalization, power supply, accessories and service:
SMART-FORCE App
The usability update makes the SMART-FORCE App even more intuitive and specifically tailored to the different requirements of rescue operations, training and equipment inspections. A new role-based user interface displays the functions and information relevant to the task at hand.
This allows emergency responders to access important information more quickly, make informed decisions under time pressure and operate the app safely. In training and equipment management, the task-specific interface supports efficient and clearly structured workflows.
SMART-FORCE Licensing Model
The new licensing model makes the use of SMART-FORCE OS digital features even more flexible. Transparent license terms and straightforward renewal options ensure easy management. Available licenses, license periods and costs can be viewed and managed centrally in the WEBER RESCUE Hub.
Express Repair Service
With its Express Repair Service, WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS offers fire departments, industrial companies and all other users a prioritized repair service. Equipment is repaired within three working days. If this is not possible in exceptional cases, an equivalent loan device will be provided.
This minimizes downtime and restores operational readiness as quickly as possible.

Door Opening Tips for the SP 44 AS
New door opening tips for the SP 44 AS add another application to the spreader’s range of capabilities. The tips can be attached without tools and enable powerful door opening without the need for an additional rescue tool.
Spikes on the rear provide a secure grip on the door panel and support controlled positioning. The door opening tips are fitted directly over the spreader tips, providing an opening width of 650 millimeters with only 2.8 kg of additional weight.
Milwaukee M18 Rapid Chargers
The new Milwaukee MDBSC and MPC6 rapid chargers, designed for permanent installation in vehicles, ensure a reliable power supply during rescue operations. They allow M18 batteries to be safely charged while the vehicle is moving.
A secure battery locking mechanism and sturdy mounting points keep both the charger and battery firmly in place and protect them from damage.
Another new addition to the battery portfolio is the Milwaukee M18 HIGH OUTPUT HB5 with 5.0 Ah. This compact, lighter option is ideal for operations where a lower battery capacity is sufficient and also meets the requirements for air transport. The proven 8.0 Ah battery remains the standard solution for everyday rescue operations.

rescueDAYS 2026 in Mosbach
The international rescueDAYS are the world’s largest training event for technical rescue and have been bringing together emergency responders and experts from around the globe for more than 20 years to participate in practical training and professional exchange.
Following rescueDAYS 2025 in Bitburg, the event returned to the TCRH Mosbach from October 9 to 11, 2026, where it had already been successfully held in 2019. Around 350 participants from 24 countries worldwide once again made rescueDAYS an international meeting point for the technical rescue community. Together with 65 experienced instructors, emergency responders practiced a wide range of rescue scenarios on approximately 100 scrap vehicles under realistic conditions. The international diversity provided valuable opportunities to exchange experiences across national borders, learn from one another and further develop cooperation in technical rescue operations.
At rescueDAYS.ORIGINAL, the focus was on challenging rescue scenarios involving modern vehicle technologies and complex emergency situations. The newly introduced rescueDAYS.TEAM expanded the training program with an additional focus on Crew Resource Management (CRM) and effective teamwork during rescue operations. A seminar on door and window opening techniques completed the diverse training program.
