Jon is very widely known and respected within our industry. Jon is an experienced fire chief, public sector executive director and emergency & disaster professional, specialising in National and International civil protection arrangements.
He is the founder of the Resilience Advisors Network (RAN) working worldwide to improve emergency and disaster preparedness, particularly supporting European research and innovation projects.
He now manages an immediate network of some 160 crisis and disaster experts and facilitates a broader network for more than 1,600 European crisis and innovation practitioners supporting organisations such as the UN, the EC and many humanitarian NGOs.
