Angus Fire offers a range of light-weight portable firefighting pumps with petrol or diesel engines. They feature premium quality, innovative styles and advanced technology and are used in numerous applications. Petrol or diesel, all Angus pumps provide optimum efficiency, speed of deployment and high levels of output. They are favoured by fire and rescue services for their reliability and functionality. The latest addition to the Angus petrol pump collection is the AP800. It is a light weight portable pump which combines the benefits of high pressure firefighting performance with a compact design that will fit most fire tender lockers and leave room for a second pump or a Positive Pressure Fan. Electric start and exhaust ejector priming mean the pump can be put into service quickly and easily in an emergency situation. Typical flows range from 800 l/min at 7 bar delivery to over 1400 l/min at 1 bar. The AP800 uses a Kohler air cooled petrol engine for lightness and reliability.
The AP2000 is the most recent portable firefighting pump launched by Angus Fire. It is a heavy duty, diesel driven compact pump with the state-of-the-art technology and cutting edge modern design. Diesel pumps are sought after as they are more rugged and reliable with longer continuous operation. There is no sparking as the fuel ignites. Their service requirement is lower and they are more powerful per unit of fuel. The AP2000 is powered by a Peugeot Citroen diesel engine giving exceptional power weight performance. The AP2000 is rated at 2000 l/min at 7 bar and is ideal for emergency firefighting and transfer of large volumes of water. It features fast and simple exhaust Priming (3m in just under 10 seconds). It is fitted with a digital display showing: revs, fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage and hours run.
