Streamlight® Inc. are a leading provider of high-performance lighting devices offering a range of high-quality portable lighting tools especially for fire services, law enforcement, military and sporting goods. From the very beginning Streamlight has been defined by their innovation. They have delivered effective, efficient, high performance lighting solutions featuring the latest technology, unmatched performance, durability and incredible value. Streamlight earned their reputation one customer at a time and listening to their customers is a key feature that reflects many decades of invaluable insight and understanding. This approach led to new ideas and the ‘Brilliant Thinking’™ that sets them apart, combined with their knowledge, experience and technical capabilities that have allowed them to consistently lead the industry.
When they launched in 1973, Streamlight set a new standard for the lighting industry with the development of the first million candlepower handheld light for NASA. Over the years, Streamlight have gone on to develop many industry standards; the LiteBox® and Fire Vulcan® LED lanterns, the Portable Scene Light® area light and the world’s leading right angle rechargeable flashlight, the Survivor®, to produce an impressive range of portable lighting tools.
Streamlight President and CEO, Ray Sharrah said “We have been raising the bar ever since, Streamlight is a pioneer in rechargeable lighting with one of the largest range of safety-rated lights. We are revolutionising LED lights, making them brighter, safer and incredibly durable.” He added, “After we’ve met the challenges involved in designing and engineering a light, we put it through the most demanding industry testing to ensure the highest levels of performance and dependability.”
Streamlight has continued to adapt to new advancements in LED technology and combine them with its expert engineering to create “high lumen” torches and other products that are feature rich, offer long run times and deliver extreme brightness. Streamlight’s continuing drive to innovate, along with its technical expertise have resulted in many specialized torches for the fire market. For example, the Vulcan® 180 Rechargeable Lantern, the lightest portable lantern of its kind. Featuring a 180 degree rotating head that directs up to 1,200 lumens where needed, the multi-function lantern provides innovative optics for navigating thick smoke, including three power LEDs that produce extreme brightness and two ultra-bright blue tail light LEDs to provide rear visibility.
Streamlight is leading the industry with the greatest variety of professional grade lights. They are trusted by professionals for a simple reason: they are the best, offering performance and features that professionals need and can depend on. The lights are available in many configurations and are supported by a range of accessories, delivering the right light exactly where it is needed. Because firefighters rely on their lighting equipment to perform safely under trying and frequently dangerous conditions, Streamlight also provides products that have earned the highest safety designations for working in environments throughout the world with potentially ignitable materials.
