Bullard’s Hot Area Detector (HAD)
Bullard thermal imaging cameras are durable, easy to use and enjoy a very high level of acceptance at fire departments worldwide.
A common question we hear from firefighters: How to reliably find the hottest spot on a scene faster without having to press many buttons?
The answer is: Hot Area Detector
How does it work?
As the name suggests, the hottest area on a scene is detected and automatically marked. This function is active immediately after the camera is turned on. A moving green square marks the hottest spot in any scene being viewed on the camera display. The heat detection feature works independently of the temperature measurement and can operate simultaneously with the Electronic Thermal Throttle (ETT). The movement of the green square is adapted to that of the human eye without overburdening the viewer making it easy to track.
The HAD mode is used for all known applications of thermal imaging cameras such as size-up, search of hidden heat sources, detection of the seat of the fire, search of persons and hazmat locations. It facilitates and speeds up the search for the hottest spot without forcing the user to access many different menus or press several buttons.
The Hot Area Detector Feature is available as an option for the LDX and QXT models and can even be retrofitted on request.
For the period 1st October 2020 to 30th November 2020, we are offering you this function with a discount of 25% on the net price!
