Term: 4 years, up to 24,000 pairs of firefighting boots
Rosenbauer and the Hellenic Fire Brigade have signed a four-year contract. This framework agreement enables Greek fire departments to purchase up to 24,000 pairs of BOROS B1 firefighting boots through 2028.
The Hellenic Fire Brigade published the tender for this framework agreement across the EU. Rosenbauer met all technical requirements and successfully won the bidding process.
The BOROS B1 firefighting boots stand out for their low weight, high wearing comfort, and easy maintenance. With their modern design and pull-on construction, they offer a compelling combination of functionality and style. Premium materials, including Michelin soles, ensure durability and reliability.

In addition to the boots, 4,500 GLOROS F10 gloves were also sold to the Hellenic Fire Brigade via partner Pronoia. The sale via the partner also took place as part of a tender. The GLOROS F10 gloves offer excellent protection against mechanical injuries, unrestricted mobility, maximum grip and high wearing comfort. They are suitable for both forest fires (EN ISO 16073-4) and technical operations (EN388).
“We are pleased to collaborate with the Hellenic Fire Brigade and proud to contribute to the safety and efficiency of Greek emergency responders,” says Kurt Wandaller, Head of Area Europe at Rosenbauer.
The Hellenic Fire Brigade, the national fire department association of Greece, has its headquarters in Athens. The fire department organizations are spread all over the country, and the fire departments report their requirements to the headquarters, which then replenishes the large warehouse in the Greek capital.
