Four special purpose vehicles manufactured by the Polish company WISS have been delivered for the Norwegian fire brigades. The company does not provide financial details of the contract.
Polish company WISS Wawrzaszek Inżynieria Samochodów Specjalnych have manufactured and delivered to Norwegian partners four rapid response vehicles build on Mercedes-Benz Vito chassis. The vehicles were manufactured in cooperation with the German production company Thoma, which since last year belongs to the WISS Group.
Vehicles have been equipped among others in the high-pressure aggregate with a hundred liter water tank, basic rescue and fire-fighting equipment and basic water fittings.
The vehicles are additionally equipped in fan smoke extraction system, thermal imager and Federal warning system. The hydraulic devices are fitted to the retractable wall.

Products of the Polish company operate in a number of countries all over the world. Until now, the Polish cars are used among Firefighters f. ex. in Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Morocco, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Thoma WISS GmbH is a German production company operating since 1987 and becoming part of the WISS Group in May 2015. At the beginning of its activity Thoma led repairs of fire trucks, later on moving also to the production of rescue vehicles – firefighting and special purpose. Currently Thoma is a well-known German manufacturer of fire trucks.
