Since its origins, 39 years ago, POK has always created and manufactured firefighting material that is innovative and high performing.
The company’s desire to create and develop by passion, led us to become number one in France in our industry. Our investments in multiple areas: production tools, development and research, human resources, external growth, helped us to gain the trust of our clients in more than 75 countries.
POK is well-known for its hand nozzles, monitors and foam equipment. However today POK produces a range of more than 3600 products and continues to develop two new items of equipment per week. This is possible thanks to its dedicated design team of experienced hydraulic and mechanics professionals.
POK produces couplings according to the norm required in every country so as to be able to distribute the equipment everywhere with the correct inlets and outlets. POK manufactures wyes, valves, strainers, flow meters, eductors, standpipes, large trailers for towable monitors, foam units and much more. A separate factory is dedicated to hose reels and absolutely all of our production is manufactured in Nogent-Sur-Seine in France.
We deliver to fire departments and manufacture a large amount of equipment for fire trucks. Waste incineration plants use our remote control monitors. Water supply and sanitation services use our valves and strainers. Storehouses, petroleum refineries, fuel containers need POK’s high expansion foam generators and very powerful monitors. We deliver to Navies our range of equipment specially tailored for the marine environment. We have specific hose reels for tunnels such as pneumatic mobile hose reels, or resistant to earthquakes for nuclear power stations. Our Gerico nozzle is used for grain silos. We manufacture all sorts of pumps designs, hydraulic motors for companies including DeLaval, Francis, Kaplan and Pelton. We have the answers for a multiple of applications that don’t necessarily require the same technology.
We have many strengths: engineering, production, assembly, testing is all at the same place – in Nogent-Sur-Seine, which means that our development cycle is efficient. Our machining centre has the newest machines which allows the precision we need. Our research and development office has very dedicated staff who love what they do and they are very talented with innovation being our top priority.
