Each discharge can be preset to its own operating pressure. When the pump operator opens a line through the touchscreen interface, the system brings that line up to pressure gradually and safely, without affecting any others. This independent control is especially important when teams are working at different heights: aerial devices or long vertical hose runs can receive the higher pressures they require, while crews operating at ground level remain protected from unintended over‑pressurisation. Every team gets exactly the pressure they need, no matter where they are positioned on the incident ground.
Built‑In Supply Monitoring and Cavitation Protection
Godiva has also incorporated suction pressure governing and cavitation protection into SAMFlows Light. When operating from a hydrant supply or suction, the system monitors available supply pressure and automatically reduces demand if supply conditions deteriorate.
