Emergency response professionals from across Europe will gather on 20–21 October for CRASH DAYS 2026. This intensive, two-day training event is designed to prepare firefighters, rescue teams, EMS personnel and instructors for the complex challenges of modern vehicle rescue.
Hosted at the renowned crashtest-service.com GmbH facility in Münster, the event centres around the core principle of “Train as you respond”. By combining technical rescue, emergency medicine, and human performance training, it ensures every hands-on scenario reflects the real-world realities of modern emergency operations.
Practical Learning & Scenarios:
- Immersive Rescue Simulation: Challenging technical rescue scenarios in realistic operational environments.
- Modern Extrication Methods: Cutting-edge vehicle rescue techniques using LUKAS rescue equipment on crash-damaged vehicles.
- Patient & Airway Management: Structured patient assessment, ITLS in-vehicle care, airway control, and life-saving haemorrhage management.
- Crew Resource Management (CRM): Communication, leadership, and decision-making under intense pressure.
- Tunnel Scenario Training: Complex rescue operations in a realistic tunnel environment.
Live Crash Demonstrations: Attendees will observe live collision dynamics and their direct implications for rescue and medical operations:
- High-Speed Head-On Collision: 160 km/h (100 mph) | Modern Vehicle vs. Two Passenger Cars.
- Congested Traffic Rear-End Collision: Severe Entrapment | Modern Vehicle vs. Multi-Passenger Cars.
For those seeking advanced skills, optional PRO Training modules are available, focusing on high-speed road traffic collisions, multi-vehicle incidents, and side-impact collisions.
