With decades of experience and a renewed commitment to innovation, AMKUS continues to develop and manufacture a wide range of hydraulic and battery powered rescue tools and products. These solutions have become the industry standard for fire rescue departments around the globe.
The new AMKUS ION 2.0 tools are both lightweight and compact in size; perfect for tight space operations. Yet they pack a powerful punch with DEWALT’s FLEXVOLT battery. The affordable and long-life batteries can be used on many other hand tools found on the apparatus. Tools come with two batteries and replacement batteries are less than a third of the price of competitors’ batteries. The ION line includes a cutter, spreaders, combination tool and RAM.
AMKUS hydraulic tools are long recognized as leaders in cutting power and rugged tool durability. Their design begins with an extraordinarily balanced tool that provides operator comfort and safety. The tools also include a time tested feature of compact blades that deliver maximum cutting force. In addition, AMKUS offers a broad selection of power units, hose reels and accessories to suit department operational and budget needs.
The company is also now offering a complete RescueStrut telescopic and hydraulic system that’s easy to deploy and use for vehicle stabilization, structural collapse, trench rescue and forcible entry. The tools are fully assembled and include a single pin adjustment for rapid deployment.
